TERMS & CONDITIONS
By booking and staying with us, you are agreeing to the Terms and Conditions detailed below, and that these form a contract between us.
Bookings
When making a reservation, the person booking is required to secure the booking using a debit or credit card issued by a British Bank. The deposit amounts to the cost of the first nights’ accommodation per booked room, and is non refundable. However, should you cancel and if we are able to relet the room to the full value of your booking, then we will refund your deposit. In the event that you fail to arrive and take up your reservation without letting us know, your card will be charged to the full value of your booking.
If you are making a booking on someone else’s behalf then you may be held responsible for non arrival/damage or loss and monies may be taken from your card.
If you or any member of your party has any special access requirements or dietary needs, please let us know. A copy of our access statement is available on request, or can be viewed on the website www.theoldbarnlulworthcove.com
Unfortunately, this building is not suitable for babies, children under 5 or wheelchair users. We accept well behaved dogs.
Cancellations and curtailment
Please let us know as soon as possible, should you require to cancel or curtail your booking. If we cannot re-let the room, we will be unable to refund your deposit. If you curtail your stay once you have arrived, 100% of the total charge will be made. We advise taking out holiday insurance to cover you in such circumstances.
Arrival
Check-in time is between 4pm and 8pm. If you are delayed in arriving or expect to arrive after 8pm, please let us know as soon as possible by ringing 07974841613.
Please note that one car parking space per room booked is provided free of charge. If you have more than one vehicle, then you will need to make other parking arrangements for the additional vehicles. Cars are parked entirely at the owner’s risk. Any contents left in your car are left at your own risk.
During your stay
We pride ourselves on having an excellent standard of housekeeping and you should check in to a very clean and orderly room. However, we do not offer housekeeping during your stay but if you need any top ups then please let us know.
Guests are not permitted to have visitors to their rooms at any time. Any item taken from the rooms without our consent will be charged for. Lost keys will incur a £30 charge.
We understand that accidents happen, however, please let us know immediately of any damage or spillage so that we can remedy the situation. Failure to inform us may result in a charge being made for damage subsequently found.
Please leave muddy shoes/boots and wet clothing in the entrance porch as soiled carpets may result in a charge being made for any specialist cleaning.
Smoking and Behaviour
It is against the Law to smoke within our premises. If a guest is found smoking in a room or from a window they will be asked to leave and full payment for the reservation will be taken from the credit/debit card. If it should be subsequently found that a guest/visitor has smoked in a room, a charge for cleaning and professional deodorising will be made against the debit card.
Whilst we want our guests to enjoy their stay, we require guests to be suitably dressed when coming to breakfast [dressed in nightwear and bare foot is not suitable] and that mobile phones are turned to silent during breakfast. Any outgoing/incoming calls must be dealt with away from the breakfast room so as not to disturb our other guests.
On arrival you will receive a set of keys and are encouraged to come and go as you please. We remind all guests that when coming back late at night, other guests will be sleeping and we require that noise is kept to a minimum.
Departure
On the day of departure, please vacate your room by 10.45am. Please ensure that you leave the room in a respectable condition and please check that you have all your belongings with you.
There will be a car parking space available for you until 1pm on the day of departure.
Please settle your outstanding balance before checking out. Receipts are available on request.
