Dorset Holiday July 23
We have just returned from a 4 night stay at The Old Barn. Excellent accommodation with spacious room, very comfortable bed, sofa, 2 chairs, tea and coffee making facilities, fridge and a large en-suite bathroom. Also use of a small kitchen. Breakfast was superb, with the best quality ingredients, the fruit was the best we have had in any accommodation we have stayed at, and there was a good range of cereals and cooked breakfast options. The location of the property is excellent with off road parking. It is just a few minutes walk to Lulworth Cove, Durdle door and into the village with a good choice of eating places at the cove and in the village. The local convenience store is well stocked and has pleasant and helpful staff. Sarah and her family who run the B&B were very welcoming, and couldn't have been more accommodating or helpful in ensuring our stay was comfortable and hassle free without being intrusive. We would thoroughly recommend this property to anyone looking for a first class B&B in the area, and would certainly try and book it again when we holiday in Dorset.

Our third visit as this B&B is that good!!
This was our third visit to the Old Barn B&B for my wife & I and it was yet again another great 2 night stay. We stayed in room 3 which was very clean, light & airy, the bed was very comfortable, there was also a settee & 2 armchairs to sit in. We also had use of a fridge in the room & a kettle for tea & coffee. We had en suite WC with a bath & shower. The breakfast was very comprehensive with a full cooked breakfast option as well as cereals & fresh fruit. The cooked breakfast was amazing & kept me going until the evening. We also had use of the rear garden. Sarah & her parents made us very welcome & nothing was too much trouble. There is also off street parking.

Quiet, Great Value
What a great find! Having been previously disappointed with overpriced and fairly poor hotels in Lulwoth Cove, we were pleased to find The Old Barn and we will definitely be back! The room was lovely, large, extremely comfortable large bad, huge shower and comfortable arm chairs. The location is super because it's a short and pleasant walk to the cove and the coast path but away from the crowds and noise. Breakfast is fantastic and Sarah and her parents are super hosts, full of valuable information (especially about the ranges which can curtail walking east). They go out of their way to help and Sarah was kind enough to post back something that I left behind. Thank you Sarah and team for a lovely birthday break and see you again next year.

Great View, Quiet, Great Value
Cannot recommend this place enough. The location, the breakfast , the rooms and the hosts who are very nice and made our stay extra special.
